People would just come up to me and just start talking in Chinese and I didn't know what they were saying,` she says. `It was just like I blended in with all of them and then like my family were really different.”

They were moved by the stories they had read about girls abandoned as a result of the One Child policy. They turned to China. The SARS epidemic postponed their initial travel plans by a year. On Sept. 15, 2003, they met Nora and became a family./span>

The family is a non-stop force of energy and Nora, as it happened, was very much the same from the first day they were together. he came to us running and climbing stairs and full of energy and she was just perfect, perfect for our family. I just know that the match was not made in the matching room, but rather that it was made in heaven./span>
